“Lost in Yonkers”

a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Neil Simon

directed by Adrian Smith

by special arrangement with Samuel French Inc

A drama / comedy

This play is set in Yonkers, New York in 1942. Lost in Yonkers tells the story of two brothers,
Arty and Jay, who are sent to live with their formidable Grand-mother Kurnitz,
and sweet but simple-minded Aunt Bella, while their father Eddie is away looking for work.
Left to often fend for themselves they also encounter their Uncle Louie, a henchman for the mob,
and their emotionally arrested Aunt Gert, who has difficulty breathing and talking at the same time.
A drama/comedy, Lost in Yonkers is a timeless tale exploring the meaning of
what it is to be a family, no matter how dysfunctional.

Doors Open at 7pm, for a performance commencing at 7.30pm - late comers will not be admitted
